I am so excited about this Conversation as my colleague, Spencer Sherman,

We have now gone beyond the Shift Point. We are seeing that the way we
understand and react to the breakdown of the old will determine how we create the new. It is solely our choice and this is what we mean by conscious
evolution.

| A prime example can be seen in the current collapse of our financial systems. Too many of our leaders had their focus on their own short term, political self-interest rather than being proactive in restructuring our macro financial institutions to better serve our country at large. So now we are experiencing a crisis that could have been averted.

In the same way, it is extremely important for us as individuals on a micro-level to restructure our inner state of being, as many of us are doing, by taking a proactive approach toward our own self-evolution.

A fundamental key is the shift within ourselves from our ego-driven "local self" to our more evolved "Essential Self."
