Course Details
Week One: Gaining Evolutionary Eyes
This shift in perspective changes everything in our lives. We
imagine ourselves being able to see the whole process of creation with
the eyes of universal beings who can now review the Great Evolutionary
Spiral as the “story of our birth as a universal humanity.” Practice:
You are the universe in person: Bringing the Evolutionary Spiral alive
within ourselves.
Week Two: The Core of the Spiral: The
Evolving Godhead within Us
We will deepen our comprehension that evolution is an on-going
process of incarnation and that this understanding results in us
becoming ever more conscious of the Consciousness that is creating us.
This concept can be seen symbolically as the Core of the Evolutionary
Spiral. We will go on to contrast older views of the nature of God as
an external deity with the newer views of God through the minds of
evolutionary spiritual pioneers such as Aurobindo, Teilhard de Chardin,
Andrew Cohen and Rev. Michael Dowd. Practice: The Evolutionary Chakra
Meditation to incarnate the divine energy of the Core of the Spiral
through every chakra, to accelerate our emergence as universal humans.
Week Three: Awakening Spirit in Homo
Sapiens
We will explore the rise of consciousness through early human
history, seeing the life of the great avatars as forecasters of an
approaching new norm with emphasis on sacred texts of the past that will
be mined to discover the hidden evolutionary insights to add to our own
contemporary revelations. What is happening to each of us? Are we
actually mutating into becoming a new species? Practice: Incarnating
the Divine: Coordinating one another in our small groups, seeing one
another with evolutionary eyes; speaking with one another as cocreative,
universal beings.
Week Four: The Crisis of Our Birth:
Personal/Spiritual
What are the stages of our Emergence as a universal cocreative
human? We go through the various stages of our ‘birth’ from conception,
through gestation in the womb of self-consciousness, through our birth
as incarnating cocreators, into our infancy, childhood, adolescence,
adulthood, regenopause…and beyond. We examine where each of us is in
our own process of emergence and what steps we can take to accelerate
the process within us. Practice: Placing your own Emergence in the
Evolutionary Spiral.
Week Five: The Crisis of Our Birth: Social
Going through the ‘chaos window’ together toward a new pattern of
society, we can see that we are living through the breakdowns and
breakthroughs in both our personal and social lives. We will see that
our own depressing problems are actually evolutionary drivers directing
us to express our new vocations. Practice: Finding our Compass of Joy
guided by Vocational Arousal toward the Suprasexual rEvolution.
Week Six: The Evolutionary Communion
Entering the Sacred Story of cosmic evolution, we will engage in
the emerging practice of becoming one with the Process of
Creation and with each other as the ‘body of humanity’ coming alive as a
whole.
Week Seven: Visions of a Universal
Humanity
Memes now changing the world will be presented as causal agents of
our evolution. How do we become meme-conscious and choose the memes we
wish to manifest in our lives? We will piece together an actual
vision of ourselves as universal humans cocreating a universal
humanity. Practice: Envisioning together our spiritual, social,
scientific/technological capacities synthesized and embodied within us
as the next turn on the Spiral. Becoming Homo sapiens Emeritus!
Week Eight: Minute-By-Minute and Day-By
Day We are Getting Closer and Closer to an Actual Planetary Birth
Experience
We will experience our personal emergence as members of a planetary
body now in the process of its own integration and birth. We will
practice and celebrate our first coordinated breath as a universal
humanity; midwifing our own birth process as conscious evolutionaries,
entering the multi-dimensional universe beyond our mother planet as
universal beings ourselves.
